My Loft

Welcome to my loft,

In this section I would like to present my pigeons live to the rest of the world. This is unique. You can browse them by using the menu on the left. But first let me introduce myself.

My name is Leekens Dirk, 50 years and already more than 35 years a fanatic pigeon fancier. In Europe we stand for Leekens-Hermans and for a lot of years we practice the sport very successful. Thanks to my partner Jan Hermans, I had the chance to learn about pigeons and the sport all over the world. His professional look and attention for champion pigeons gave me the chance to increase my own breedingloft.
At this moment we have the direct pigeons from Van Dyck Dirk, Pros Roosen, Jos Thoné. The other bloodlines are Huyskens-Van Riel, Schellens Karel and the "fenomeentje" line from Jan and Rik Hermans. Additionally we brought a few new lines into the loft. Pigeons from 100 km till 750 km is the kind of pigeons we try to breed.
Succesfully as we won 1st national hens from Brive (700 km). We have a record bird from Barcelona 1100 km (8 times in the prizes). We have 1st provincial and 4th national acepigeon speed (till 250 km) K.B.D.B. this year(2010) we have 1+3 provincial ace pigeon middle distance( 450-600 km) an became 1st NATIONAL CHAMPION KBDB young birds 3 national races 500-600 km. These are alround birds with a nice pedigree.
